Amos Lapp and team of his sub-contractors designed and implemented an open-concept kitchen-living room space for our 1970’s executive rancher style home. Amos listened to our design ideas and our end goals for the remodeled space. The final design incorporated removing a wall between the living room and kitchen area, replacing all kitchen cabinets, installing engineered flooring, and a professional style gas range with a large custom granite-topped island. The design for the open space incorporated existing aspects of the home’s current design, such as existing dark trim and structure beams, ultimately making them architectural assets. They also pulled in the brick from the fireplace for a backsplash in the kitchen.
